With Christmas break just a week away all I can think about is home!! The Strip District in Pittsburgh is one of my favorite places to be. Delicious food and cute shops line the streets, if you’re in town it is a must go. I went over Thanksgiving break with my mom and sister and had such a great day!!
Of course, we first had to stop and see what new Pittsburgh shirts there was to buy. Since my sister and I live out of state we love to represent our city! We also stopped at My Sweet Lilly to get gobs! If you don’t know what that is (I think it might be a Pittsburgh word??), it’s like two pieces of cake as a sandwich with icing in the center. They are my absolute favorite from here but I also tried a thumbprint and have been thinking about how good it was since. We also picked up some pepperoni rolls right before we went into Wholey’s. They have all sorts of food but are known for their fresh fish (literally there are tons of fish swimming around in the back). I was surely not there for the fish but I made sure to pick up a fresh squeezed orange juice. It was such a nice day to spend with my family and I can’t wait to head back in the city when I am back home!
